It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Leroy Eckert in Boulder, Colorado, born in Lamar, Colorado, who passed away on April 15, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Ethel M. Eckert (Burchett) and Sherman A. Eckert; his former life partner Dorothy Eckert; his siblings, Clarence Eckert, Norman Eckert, Charles Eckert, Edna Francisco and Velma Stalins; his daughter Victoria Lynn Eckert; and his son-in-law Timothy'Tim'Stevens.

He is survived by : his spouse Dorothy'Dottie'L Hill; his daughter Sandra; his son-in-law Charles Simmons (Sandy) of Dacono, CO; his children, Bradley'Brad'Eckert of Boulder, CO and Pamela'Pam'Eckert of Boulder, CO; his grandchildren, Brandon Eckert, Jonathan and Carley Simmons; and his great grandchild Aubree Eckert.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Darrell Howe Mortuary (1701 W South Boulder Rd, Lafayette, CO 80026). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
