With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Heather Ellen Urick of Boulder, Colorado, who passed away on November 6, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her mother Linda Margaret Urick; her sister Anna Kristina Melvin (Christopher Lee Melvin); her aunts and uncles, James Jackson Urick, Sandra Berry, Lawrence Boecklen and Constance Boecklen; her friend Brett Dietz; her father William John Urick III; her grandparents, Colonel William John Urick II, Marietta Ellen Urick, Carol Grace and Charles Francis Ripley; and her uncle Mark Warner Ripley.

In March of 2004, she became one of the first lucky recipients of a Capable Canine through the Guide Dog Foundation of Southwest Florida.
