He was predeceased by: his parents, John Marshall Matthews Sr. and Carole Laverne Matthews (Jay). He is survived by: his brother Mark Matthews; his sister-in-law Lisè Matthews; and his nieces, Jessie and Jordan Matthews. He is also survived by loving cousins, aunts, and uncles.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Boulder Seventh-Day Adventist Church (345 Mapleton Ave, Boulder, CO 80304).
