Logan Houtzer Obituary

Logan Michael Houtzer passed away on January 13, 2018. He was a cherished son, brother, friend and will be forever missed.

When you think of Logan, think of his hysteric laugh, and his ever-changing, expressive eyes. Think of all the different characters he was so good at portraying, and the jokes that only he could think up. Logan only ever wanted to make everyone around him happy, so please, when you think of him, smile.

Dante Moyer wrote a sympathy message

“Logan. You are my best friend, you and I went through it all together. We laughed until we blew snot out of our noses, we laughed till our faces turned tomato red. We got in trouble for just being silly. When I needed a shoulder to cry on when I was going through death, you were there. We talked about our plans for future travels, careers, everything. I wouldn’t have been able to make it through middle school if you weren’t in my life. My heart aches knowing I saw you just weeks before at homedepot. I wish I was there for you, like you were for me. I love you man, we fell out of touch but I still hold you close and dear to my heart. Keep them laughing up there.”

David Beson wrote a sympathy message

“I've known Logan for five years. From the moment we met, I knew he was the kind of kid you don't meet twice, not in this or any lifetime. He was himself without needing anyone's approval or consent. He was funny as hell and put himself out there whether it was playing Gauntlet together, or climbing at mountain together, he made me happy. I will never forget you. Rest in peace Husky”

Trevor Giltner wrote a sympathy message

“I will miss him more than I can ever express. The memories we shared will be something I will cherish for the rest of my life. Logan was my oldest and greatest friend. We shared and did so much. I'm thankful for the time I had with him, and my only regret is that we couldn't have had more. He touched the lives of so many, and I was honored to call him my best friend. Sleep well Husky.”

“I met Logan back in July of 2017. Even though I only knew him for a few months, he was still one of the funniest and most genuine people I've ever met. I'm glad I had the honor of knowing him, even if it wasn't for very long. I miss you, Logan. Rest easy.”

Ethan Wright wrote a sympathy message

“Although I have not seen Logan very often these last few years, I will always remember the time we spent together during elementary school. He would always join in on my crazy role-plays and come up with cool game design ideas. It's too bad we were never able to make a game together. He was one of the most creative and energetic people I knew. I thank him for being such a nice friend over all these years and will miss him greatly.”
