He was predeceased by : his parents, Fritz Ide and Helen Ide; his brother Russell Ide; and his grandson Marc Loucks. He is survived by : his wife Mary (Merritt); his brother Roger Ide (Jean); his children, Jennie Murphy (Larry), Robert Ide (Cathy) and Jim Fritz Ide (Patty); his grandchildren, Maggie Murphy, Lorin Murphy, Matthew Loucks (Hanna), Mary Cummings (Mike), Holly Roberson (Kyle), K. T. Smith (Kellen), Clint Ide (Amy Iberlin), Austin Ide and Audrey Ide; and his great grandchildren, Zachary, Scarlet, Quincy Loucks, Waylon, Sutton, Townes Lee Smith, Rory Roberson and Mia Ava Ide.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Green Mountain Cemetery (290 20th St, Boulder, CO 80302).
