Robert Lyons Obituary

It is with sadness that the passing of Robert Lyons in Boulder, Colorado is shared. Robert, born on February 19, 1940, passed away on June 19, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clark Lyons and Leota Lyons; his parents-in-law, Herman and Myrtle Carlson; his grandson Alexander Welch; and his siblings, Ethel Bern, Doris Madsen, Mary Teutsch, Alvin "Sony" Lyons, Nancy Johnson and Margie Williams.

He is survived by: his wife Mary (Carlson); his daughter Laurie Welch (Doug); his granddaughter Catherine Pettyjohn (Matt); and his great grandchild Hudson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a cause that was meaningful to Bob.
