He is survived by: his wife Marjorie (Lange); his children, Adam David Schaffner MD (Marcie Rubin) and Jodi Lynn (Bryan Sugar); his grandchildren, Miles, Brett, Sybil Schaffner, Sari and Jamie Sugar; his sister Helaine Greenberg (late George Greenberg); and his parents, Arnold and Adele (Marco).
