Larry Leon Highland Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 7, 2025, at the age of 89, Larry Leon Highland (Briggsdale, Colorado), born in Loveland, Colorado passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Larry may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Larry touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Gerry Highland; his parents, Murray Highland and Anna Highland; his brother Murray Highland (Allen); and his nephew Jack Highland.
He is survived by: his brothers, Ronald Cody Highland (Phyllis) of Kersey and Lonnie Dee Highland (Cindy) of Loveland; his daughters, Teresa (Rick Dudden) of Ft. Lupton, Colorado, Joy (Hoby Daniell) of Monroe, Georgia and Julie (Dennis Klinkerman) of Briggsdale, Colorado.; and his wife Geraldine Smith (Gerry). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and their spouses and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Prairie Rose Community Church (41525 Weld County Rd 74, Briggsdale, CO 80611).
