He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfonso Martinez and Senorina Martinez (Abeyta); and his siblings, Mary, Grace and Ernest.
He is survived by: his children, Joyce Martinez (Nestor Aguillon) and Andrew Martinez; his grandson Ryan Bennett; his sister Viola Rael; and his partner's child Thomas Lamba. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
