He was predeceased by : his wife Irene Lopez; his daughters, Diana Diaz and Maria Cordova; his grandchildren, Agustin Diaz, Bernard Cordova Jr. and Catrina Cordova; and his siblings, Mary Arvizu, Max Diaz, Robert Diaz, Fred Diaz, Pauline Peralta and George Diaz.

He is survived by : his stepdaughter Cathryn Diaz; his grandchildren, Diana Diaz, DawnAngel Diaz (Nolbert Maestas), Dorena Diaz (Earl Munoz), Juan "Nico" Acosta (Cecily Yankton Martin), Jose "Kito" Acosta and Isaac Diaz; his great grandchildren, Jovan Ruiz, Felipe Ruiz (Laura), Bernard Cordova III, Enrique Diaz (Deanna), Lucky Diaz (Nessa Hernandez), Patricio Ulibarri (Ruby Portillo), Lauren Diaz, Maria Gevauna Ulibarri, Augustine "Louie" Cordova, Anthony Mestas, Elias Acosta, Giovanni Acosta, Alaunie Ulibarri, Justice Diaz, Jacob Acosta, Persious Holguin, Nolbert Maestas Jr. and Eliana Munoz; his children, Lorraine Diaz, Donald Diaz (Gloria), Cathy Diaz and Dorothy Acosta; and his siblings, Ermalinda Gallegos, Arthur Diaz and Jennie Vigil. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren.
