We bid farewell to Charles Kirkmeyer of Brighton, Colorado, born in Boulder, Colorado, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 2, 2026 at the age of 91. Charles touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Kirkmeyer and Elvira "Billie" Howard; his brother James E. Kirkmeyer Jr.; and his son Bryan L. Kirkmeyer. He is survived by: his wife Bernice Salamonski; his sons, Duane C. Kirkmeyer and Gregory Kirkmeyer (Mary); his grandchildren, Clayton Kirkmeyer, Katee Pevler (Randy), Caroline Maxwell (Casey) and Gabrielle Maxwell Kirkmeyer; his great grandchildren, Amelia, Preston, Paxton, Cayden, Parker, Cutter and Caine; and his siblings, Jo-Ann Frick, Shayla Toledo, Sharla Castro (Eddie) and Shadron Walton (Peggy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Brighton Elks Lodge 101 (101 N Main St, Brighton, CO 80601).
