We announce the death of Doris Colyer of Brighton, Colorado, who passed away on September 13, 2026, at the age of 96. Doris will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph Colyer; her daughter Terry Colyer Fry; her parents, Henry Jesser (Dorothy) and Bertha Jesser; and her sisters, Dorothy Jesser Wilson and Betty.
She is survived by: her sons, Mike Colyer (Debbie) and Charles Colyer (Thomas); her grandchildren, Jeani Joh Colyer Champion, Kaycee Colyer MacGibbon, Aaron Fry and Nichole Fry; her great grandchildren, Hayley Joh Dagenhart, Mikayla Joh Almond, Jolie Beth Brown, Deshawn Aerts and Jonas Tucker Brown (JT); and her great great grandchildren, Xavian Aerts, Weston James Dagenhart and Case Jacob Dagenhart.
A memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Brighton Methodist Church (625 S 8th Ave, Brighton, CO 80601).
