It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dwain Williams Sr. of Brighton, Colorado, born in Potter, Nebraska, who passed away on April 21, 2026, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Wanda Marie Williams; his parents, Robert F. Williams and Opal M. Jones; his brother Virgil Williams; his children, Peggy Barnes, Rick Barnes and Mike Barnes; and his grandchildren, Tiffany Barnes and Josh Burris.
He is survived by: his siblings, Ada Dela Motte and Jerry Williams; his children, Darlene, Emery Johnson, Danny, Koni Williams, Dwain and Wanda Williams Jr.; his grandchildren, Dwain III, Karla, Lindsey, Kandis, Staci, Jake, Angela, Jared, LaRae, Lacee, Ricky, Amiel, Jeffery, Ann, Michelle, Alan and Mike Jr.; and his friends, Rick, Shelly, Guy, Jackie and Virginia. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and many cherished friends.
In honor of Dwain, donations may be made to Dwain Jr. to be split between local food banks and the senior center.
