He was predeceased by: his parents, Nestor Trinidad and Felipa Carrera; his son Felix Trinidad Jr.; his sisters, Ramona Lopez, Helen Sanchez and Carol Zugarramurdi; and his brother-in-law Al Lopez.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his children, Cynthia Trinidad-Sheahan (Sten Sheahan), Joshua Trinidad (Erin Bustamante-Trinidad) and Tracie Trinidad; his grandchildren, Amanda Scherbenske, Shelby Sheahan, Cody Sheahan, Zachariah Trinidad, Lucas Meikle, Joe Harder Bustamante and Ceora Bustamante-Trinidad; his great grandchildren, Milena Trinidad, Logan Scherbenske, Leila Newsom, Jack Scherbenske and Ava Scherbenske; his siblings, Jesse Trinidad, Ruth Hernandez (John Hernandez), Ruby Rios (Henry Rios) and Paul Trinidad (Virginia Trinidad); and his brothers-in-law, Alex Sanchez and Tony Zugarramurdi.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Tabor Funeral Services Chapel (75 S 13th Ave, Brighton, CO 80601). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Williams Catholic Church (1025 Fulton Ave, Fort Lupton, CO 80621). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Elmwood Cemetery (14800 Old, Brighton Rd, Brighton, CO 80601). A reception will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the St. Williams Catholic Church (1025 Fulton Ave, Fort Lupton, CO 80621).
