It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ivan Funkhouser (Brighton, Colorado), who passed away on August 31, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward "Blackie" Funkhouser and Lucille Funkhouser (Collins); his sister Karen; his mother-in-law Anna Jensen; his siblings-in-law, Phyllis Krause (Wayne), Arlene Kopsa, Jean Hastings (John) and Richard "Dick" Jensen; and his grandson Tyler Erives.
He is survived by: his wife Ann (Anna Marie Jensen); his children, Janice Barber (Terry) and John Funkhouser (Stacy); his stepdaughters, Cheryl Barta (Lloyd), Kathy Maret and Debbie Downey; his brother-in-law Keith Hatt; and his sibling's children, Michele Schneck (Marlon), Minette Hatt (Ty) and Michael Hatt. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to one of Ivan's favorite charities, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
