She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan Cruz and Maria Lozano; her husband Guadalupe Salazar (Lupe); her siblings, Isabel Leal, Cleotilda Casas and Antonio Cruz; her son-in-law Jaime Garcia; and her grandson Victor Rodriguez.

She is survived by: her children, Eva Loya (Daniel), Hortencia Sarabia (George), Stella Mendoza (Adrian), Joe Salazar (Rafaela), Maria Dutmer (Joe), Antelia Ball (Ken) of Brighton, Evelia Rodriguez (Armando) of Northglenn and Arcelia Garcia of El Paso, TX; her siblings, Roberto Lozano, Margarita Lozano, Lidia Guel and Olga Duarte of Brownsville, TX; and also, Mayra Duran and Jeanie. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
