It is with sadness that the passing of Maxine Denton of Brighton, Colorado is shared. Maxine, born on January 3, 1938, passed away on October 8, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Ernest Arp; her stepfather Norman Weitzel; her mother Dorothy Weitzel; her sister Nadine Carriker; and her daughter-in-law Neta Aldrich.
She is survived by: her children, Lynn Hansford and Jeff Aldrich; her grandchildren, Benjamin Hansford Jr. (Nicole), Roxanne Hansford (Lewie), Ryan Aldrich (Jenny) and Shane Aldrich; and her great grandchildren, Mariah Davila, Taylor Hansford, Cole Hansford and Willow Holman.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Tabor Funeral Home (75 S 13th Ave, Brighton, CO 80601). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Broomfield County Commons Cemetery (12801 Sheridan Blvd, Broomfield, CO 80020).
