It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Rodney Dreiling (Brighton, Colorado), born in Denver, Colorado, who passed away on May 28, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael A. Dreiling and Pauline R. Dreiling (Hepp); his brothers, Jerry, Jim and Dave (Doris); his son-in-law Keith Spayd; and his siblings-in-law, Debra Dreiling and Danny Medina.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Schissler; his children, Ty Dreiling (Tara) and Kimberly Spayd; his grandchildren, Taylor Dreiling (Tessa Gaston), Tamber Arvizo (Emilio), Tate Dreiling, Elizabeth Spayd and Emily Spayd; his great grandchild Meiko Arvizo; his sisters, Sandy Medina and Mary Kay Eversman (Larry); and his sisters-in-law, Freda Dreiling, Carol Odenbaugh, Norma Schumacher and Margie Herndon.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Tabor Funeral Services Chapel (75 S 13th Ave, Brighton, CO 80601). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Hudson (610 Cherry St, Hudson, CO 80642). A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Heart of the Plains Cemetery (38044 Co Rd 16, Roggen, CO 80652).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the SEWC Fair Board or Optimal Hospice.
