He was predeceased by: his parents, Saturnino Candelaria and Luisa Candelaria; and his wife Hope Martinez. He is survived by: his daughter Elizabth Balderas (Fidel); his grandchildren, Lucia Balderas, Angelica Espinoza and David Balderas (Gabby); his great grandchildren, Audri, Ximena, Bruno III, Noah and Nalanie; his sisters, Mary "Lola" Martinez and Lydia "Lily" Finn; and his in-laws, Rebecca, Maxine, Fermin and Janice.
