He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Newton and Edna Newton; and his siblings, Evelyn Hill, Virginia Gilbert, Janice Burger and Merle Newton.
He is survived by: his children, Lori Helen Newton of Loveland and Christopher Linn Newton (Chris) of Fort Lupton, Colorado.; his wife Shirley Newton; and his siblings, Don Newton and Lois Desart. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
