He was predeceased by : his parents, Elmer Oestman, Sr. and Dorothea Oestman (Weed); and his granddaughter Jamie. He is survived by : his former life partner Kay Arlene Keeler; his wife Diane Oestman (Bills); his children, Lisa Pettinger (Richard), Michele Oestman Sack (Pat Meroney), Trevor Bills (Denise) and Marnie Boom; his grandchildren, Matthew, Tonia, Desiree, Savannah, Amanda, Ronnie, Adam, Tim, Jay, Sandra and Jarrod; and his sister Deana Medlock.

The family requests memorial gifts be made to the American Heart Association.
