She was predeceased by: her parents, William Day and Betty Beloit Day; her stepfather Ivan Elvin Smith (Soapy); her husband Ernest Shonrock; and her granddaughter Allison Rose.
She is survived by: her daughter Clarissa Rose-Matens (Carrie); her son-in-law Ken Matens; her sons, Christopher (Aimee Shonrock) and Curtis (Amber Shonrock); and her grandchildren, Stephany, Austin, Mikalyn, Gavin and Brodie.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Broomfield United Methodist Church (545 W 10th Ave, Broomfield, CO 80020). The inurnment will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at the Lutheran Church of Hope (1305 W 10th Ave, Broomfield, CO 80020).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Gloria's name to the Parkinson's Association of the Rockies are welcome.
