He was predeceased by : his parents, Glenn Howard Cook and Martha Lyzette Cook (Anderson); and his wife Eloise Opal Cook (Baker). He is survived by : his children, Sondra Jean Janssen (Cook), Jeffrey Wayne Cook and Charles Ellis Cook. He is also survived by his three children, ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, June 8th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Broomfield Christian Church (12601 Sheridan Boulevard, Broomfield, CO 80020).
