He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Lester, Jeannie Borecky (Danner) of Akron, Neil and Juanita Putnam (Morales) of Longmont; and his stepbrother Kyle Dreher of Longmont.

He is survived by : his parents, Stephanie Olmedo of Longmont and Steve Borecky (Diane) of Firestone; his brothers, Kittrick Borecky of Austin Texas and Kyle Borecky of Longmont; his stepsister Amber Harper; his nephew Peyton; and his niece Taylor of Firestone.

Kurt spent his spare time volunteering for Global Down Syndrome Foundation and as a Holy Family Football coach.
