He is survived by : his wife Mary Elizabeth McKenna (Rummel) of Broomfield; his children, Michael McKenna (Staci) of Leawood and Lisa Gonzales (Steve) of Thornton; his sister Kathleen Graff (Ken) of Denver Colorado; and his grandchildren, Nick Gonzales, Josie McKenna, Garin McKenna, Jill Gonzales and Brennan McKenna.

A rosary was held on Tuesday, May 28th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church (900 W Midway Blvd, Broomfield, CO 80020). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, May 28th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
