He was predeceased by : his father David Basham. He is survived by : his mother Frieda Basham (Samson); his siblings, Ramona Kroenke (Dwight), Maria Letourneau (Todd), Bernadette Basham, Aaron Basham and Stefan Basham; and his nieces and nephews, Amanda Budea (Bogdan), Heather Millard (Ky), Erin Letourneau, Averi Kroenke, Trevor Kroenke and Tyler Kroenke (Carolyn).

A rosary was held on Thursday, May 30th 2024 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the McLaughlin Funeral Chapel (519 S Ohio Ave, Sedalia, MO 65301). Visitation was held on Thursday, May 30th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, May 31st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, St. Patrick Chapel. A graveside service was held on Friday, May 31st 2024 at 11:15 AM at the Calvary Cemetery (701 N Engineer Ave, Sedalia, MO 65301).

Memorials are suggested to American Cancer Society, AmeriCorps, or towards memorial masses at St. Patrick Catholic Church, in care of McLaughlin Funeral Chapel.
