With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Norene Ethyl Schum of Broomfield, Colorado, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by : her parents, Celestine Schum (Wombacher) and John Schum of Boulder. She is survived by : her significant other Vernon Schum; her children, John Schum (Jan), Robert Schum (Kathy) and Vikki Stewart (Rick); her close friends, Tess Stewart (Cory), Nicole Ott (Travis), Katie Baxter (Aaron), Maggie Schum, Cody Davis, Megan Schum and Hayley Schum; and her great grandchildren, Ben Ott, Rowan Stewart-Maccarrone and Nora Stewart-Maccarrone.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart of Mary (6739 S Boulder Rd #101, Boulder, CO 80303). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart of Mary Church (6739 S Boulder Rd #101, Boulder, CO 80303). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Sacred Heart of Mary Cemetery (6739 S Boulder Rd #101, Boulder, CO 80303).
