Virginia Ellen Horvat Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 21, 2026, at the age of 89, Virginia Ellen Horvat of Broomfield, Colorado passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thomas Neavill and Martha Esther Neavill (Hastie); her husband Edmund Horvat; and her siblings, Patricia Rethmeier (Dean), Jack Neavill (JoAnne), Mary Sands (Jack), Kay Reddick (John), Fran Rovlenchik and Jim Neavill.
She is survived by: her children, Julie Grady (Frank) of Broomfield, Andy Horvat (Angela) of Hayden, ID, Mary Jo Horvat Guarrero of Broomfield, Francine McGee (John) of Manitou Springs, Katie Culp (Jon) of Broomfield and Christine Jachetta (Frankie) of Broomfield; her sisters-in-law, Barbara Neavill (Jim) of Fargo, ND and Grace Horvat (Jim) of Denver; her grandchildren, Jim Grady, Pat Grady (Jessica), Father Joseph Grady, Jeff Horvat (Chloe West), Ashley Hildreth (Jace), Alex Guarrero, Cooper Johnson, Meghan Marsh (Nick), Danny McGee, Zach McGee, Jack Culp, Charli Culp, Wyatt Jachetta and Lauren Jachetta; her great grandchildren, Maddie and Clare Grady; and her friend Patricia Tobin. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Nativity of Our Lord Church (900 W Midway Blvd, Broomfield, CO 80020). A rosary will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, June 1st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Fort Logan Cemetery (4400 W Kenyon Ave, Denver, CO 80236).
