It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Joan Sandstead of Brush, Colorado, born in Sterling, Colorado, who passed away on June 11, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Henry and Ruth Henry; her husband Mike Sandstead; and her brothers, Mike, Robert Jr., Guy and Patrick.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Tynan Cucarola (Arden), Selena Lopez (Richard), Keani Lopez and Fabian Lopez "Junior" (Elisabeth); her great grandchildren, Romi, Rubi, Roxi, Tony, Vinny, Winter, Julian, Shelby and Aiden; her daughter Crickett; her son-in-law Juan; her siblings, Sylvia and Kayo; and her close friend Fabian Lopez Sr. (Martha).
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Heer Mortuary (222 Cameron St, Brush, CO 80723).
