He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde F. Smith and Marie Smith (Bott) of Brush, CO; and his siblings, Bob Smith (Carole) and Alice McGuire (Smith). He is survived by: his wife Norma Lee Coleman of Brush, CO; and his brother John Smith (Lana) of Ada, OK. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
