He was predeceased by: his father David B. Lawrence; and his grandparents, AnnaLou, Donald Lawrence, Josephine and Clyde Lake.

He is survived by: his mother Rhea Lawrence of Savoy, IL; his wife Shelley Lawrence of Brush, CO; his daughter Theresa Lawrence of Urbana, IL; his sisters, Cherise Lewis (David) of Mahomet, IL, Susan Penny (Charles) of Roswell, GA and Dena Lawrence of Savoy, IL; his nephews, Reid Penny (Etienne) of Marietta, GA and Blake Penny of Kennesaw, GA; and his pet Pete.
