He was predeceased by: his parents, Gale Teter and Virginia Teter (Bonnie Teter); his daughter Chris Gerk; his daughter-in-law Lynné Teter; his sister Dorothy Koehler; and his brothers-in-law, Herb Koehler and Rich Gilliland.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Teter; his children, Mark Teter and Sara Evans; his son-in-law Brad Gerk; his grandchildren, Jessica Jones, Talia Charley (Cris), Kyla Araujo, Chandler Gerk, Jacklyn Gerk, Katelyn Gerk, David Evans (Lanie), Jade Evans and Chloe Evans; his great grandchildren, Aubrey, Christian, Gavin, Eva, Franklin, Avett, Austin and Leroy Carson Evans; and his siblings, Albert Teter (Bonnie), Doug Teter (Bev), Gayleen Gilliland, Ginger Urbach (Larry), Nancy Pottorf (Kenny), Roger Teter (Jan), Roberta Teter and Judy Queen (Dennis).
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Brush United Methodist Church (1701 Edmunds St, Brush, CO 80723). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Walks Camp Methodist Cemetery (63990 CO-71, Limon, CO 80828).
