She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde F. Galbraith and Mildred Vesta Galbraith; her former husband William G. Emerson; her son Jack Stevan Emerson; and her siblings, Helen Mathews, Evelyn Hartzel, Linda Beede and Jerry Galbraith.
She is survived by: her husband Keith Coates; her siblings, Melvin Galbraith (Verlee) of Luray, VA and Jackie Galbraith of Loveland; her daughter-in-law Jenny Emerson; and her stepdaughters, Darla Crippen (Bill), Linda Beattie (Brian), Connie Simonds (Scott) and Julie Coates. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and countless other extended family.
Viewing will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Resthaven Funeral Home (8426 US-287, Fort Collins, CO 80525). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Fellowship and Remembrance (8426 US-287, Fort Collins, CO 80525).
