We announce the death of Mitchell Jon Bostrom of Brush, Colorado, who passed away on September 19, 2026, at the age of 62. Mitchell will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his father Kenneth Bostrom. He is survived by: his mother Corinne Bostrom; his wife Sheila; his sons, Cole, Brett (Corinne) and Hunter (Ashlyn); his grandchildren, Callum and Louise; and his siblings, Michael (Candy), Michelle (Marc) and Maren.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church (603 Custer St, Brush, CO 80723). A reception will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes memorial gifts to the warming shelter at Rising Up Morgan County, which provides a safe, warm place for people experiencing homelessness in our community.
