She was predeceased by : her father Lawrence Schaal; her husband Paul Martinez; and her brother Larry Schaal. She is survived by : her mother Evelyn Schaal; her siblings, Dana Hettich (Sid) and Lynn Schaal (Dorette); her children, Glenn Broce (Marjorie), Kelly Ray (Ken), Sondra Martinez and Nick Martinez (LaDawn); and her grandchildren, Jake Broce, Erika Bass (Jeremy), Nicholas Broce, Krister Broce, Annaliese Broce, Ryan Ray (Chantel), Ashley Mints (Brian), Dellyn Ray (Susana), Kylie Carlin (Lance), Cheyenne Heskett, Adam Heskett, Nick Martinez, Mateo Martinez and Jonah Martinez.
