It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna Barnes in Burlington, Colorado, who passed away on October 4, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William G. Peters and Mildred Peters; her husband Oby Barnes; her sister Sandra Lord; and her nephew Eric Richardson.
She is survived by: her son Carey Barnes (Pia); her grandchildren, Lexi Frye (Samuel Frye), Jaxon and Cooper; her daughter Scelee Blake; her grandchildren, Breanna, Kaylie, Toby and Elizabeth; her children, Mitchell (Shalynn), Justine Fecht (Anthony) and Garrett; her sibling's children, Kim Richardson and Delbert Richardson; her great-nephew Shane Richardson; Kristine Richardson.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the First Saint Paul's Lutheran Church (2660 Senter Ave, Burlington, CO 80807). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at the Fairview Cemetery (1000 N 15 St, Burlington, CO 80807).
