With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nancy Kay Sherrill of Byers, Colorado, born in Greeley, Colorado, who passed away on July 26, 2025 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Nancy Kay Sherrill to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgina Rice (Cook) and William Rice; her husband Jim Sherrill; her children, Cindy Sherrill and Chris Sherrill; her granddaughter Raelynn Sterrett; her great grandchild Michael Sterrett; and her siblings, Jim Rice (Ronna) and Joni Spangler (Dick).
She is survived by: her children, Pam Post (Dennis) and Jason Sherrill (Tamara); her grandchildren, Kristin Irey (Michael), Jenny Post, Patrick Post (Tia), Quincy Post, Christopher Sherrill (Page) and Andrew Sherrill; her great grandchildren, Lacey Mendoza (Tyler), Austin Ward, Gavin Mullarkey, Zane Stowers, Hannah Sterrett (Dean), Cameron Turner, Bella Turner, Nathan Cole, Nicholas Post, Raelynn Post and Colton Post; and her great great grandchildren, Audrey Mendoza, Lilianna Mendoza, Wyntier Mendoza, Oaklee Mendoza and Ivar Becker.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Mountain View Fellowship (1955 Headlight Rd, Strasburg, CO 80136). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Byers Cemetery (548 S Owens St, Byers, CO 80103).
