It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jake R. Michel of Calhan, Colorado, born in Colorado Springs, Colorado, who passed away on September 12, 2021, at the age of 47, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Loren D. Michel. He is survived by: his mother Nancy Michel (Bowker); his wife Nichole Muzljakovich; his children, Ryon Michel, Piper Michel and Ivy Michel; and his sister Jodi Michel.

Inurnment will be private. For your safety, the family requests that those attending wear masks for the ceremonial services and reception.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Farmer's State Bank for his children's education (the three Michel children: Piper, Ivy, and Ryon).
