He was predeceased by: his mother Verna Lee Barbour (Gamble); his wife Patricia Alice Barbour (Medlar); his father Marvin Boone Barbour; and his brother Marvin Grant Barbour. He is survived by: his children, Deborah Anne Barbour (Lindquist) and James T Barbour Jr. During; his brother Norvel Barbour (Glenda Barbour); his children, Lindquist (Randy Lamontagne) and Robert Duane Barbour (Carolyn Barbour); his grandchildren, Samantha Patricia Heron (Bradley Wells) and William Isaac Baca; and his great grandchildren, Alyssa Deborah Heron, Reagan Eleanor Heron, Travis Strawser, Bradley Isaac Wells and Miles Vincent Baca.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Debi's Home (2516 Prescott Cir W, Colorado Springs, CO 80916). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Shrine of Remembrance (1730 E Fountain Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80910). A burial was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Pikes Peak National Cemetery (10545 Drennan Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80925).
