We bid farewell to Barbara Henderson in Canon City, Colorado, born in Salida, Colorado, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 15, 2025 at the age of 91. Barbara touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the vast expanse of eternity, Barbara shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Barbara farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolf Floryancic and Elizabeth Floryancic; her husband Jerry; and her brother Adolf Joseph "Sonny" Floryancic. She is survived by: her children, Pam Ashley, Dede Hemmings (Tom), Renee Thonhoff (Kevin) and Doug Bess (Robin). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Lewis and Glenn Funeral Home (203 E Sackett Ave, Salida, CO 81201).
