It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Curtis Drew Johnson of Canon City, Colorado, who passed away on October 15, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Ray Mecredy and Vera Salmon Qualls; his brother Louis Johnson; and his former life partner Melila Alexandrescu Johnson. He is survived by : his wife Helene Blake of Canon City; his sister Laurel Crump of Oregon; his sons, Jeffrey Johnson (Nathalie) of Belgium and Gregory Johnson of Pasadena; and his grandchildren, Jolan Johnson, Juline Johnson Delhaye (Dimitri) of Belgium, Eden, Aurora Johnson of Texas and Lewis Delhaye. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
