With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Fred Petro (Canon City, Colorado), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 5, 2026 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Fred Petro to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Petro and Chloe Petro (Starkey); and his brother Robert Petro. He is survived by: his wife Blanche Petro; his sons, Bill Petro (Nancy) and Brian Petro (Doris); his grandchildren, Andrew (Kara), Elizabeth (Morgan), Logan (Kim) and Maggie (Dustin); his great grandchildren, Samuel, Parker, Alice, Katherine, Edward, Layla, Sophia, Landon and Brielle; and his sisters, Marylou Winters and Barbara Wellman. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fremont Regional Hospice in Fred's name.
