Joy Usry Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joy Usry of Canon City, Colorado, who passed away on June 7, 2025 at the age of 53. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Joy leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Joy may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her sister Marilee Ann Usry. She is survived by: her parents, Frank Usry and Rachel Usry; her son Levi Lyons; her grandson Levi; her son Daniel Rash; her fiancé Paul Snyder; and her siblings, Christopher Usry, Timothy Usry (Sonya) and Brigitte Betzla (Jonathan). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Wilson Funeral Home (1449 S 9th St, Cañon City, CO 81212).
