Mary will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Mary’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil William Melendy Sr. and Elizabeth Lora East; and her siblings, Cecil Jr. Melendy (LaJuan) and Jere Melendy (Nevelyn). She is survived by: her children, Allison Marshall (Dave), Tim Hall (Lisa), Carl Hall and Kenny Gierhart (Jill). She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and honorary family members.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the GrandView Christian Church (3245 Grandview Ave, Cañon City, CO 81212).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Sangre de Cristo Hospice or GrandView Christian Church.
