For Rick is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Byrd; and his grandchildren, Vaughn Byrd, Alexa Byrd, Joey Carochi, Hunter Faddis, Joslynn Carochi, Trent Byrd, Tyler Carochi, Damian Byrd, Sky Byrd, Colton Newell, Jaxson Hutchinson and Payton Newell.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Four Mile Club Building (105 Steinmeier Ave, Cañon City, CO 81212).
