Everett J. Hitchcock Obituary

Everett J. Hitchcock, age 84, of Castle Rock, Colorado passed away on Friday, February 11, 2022. Everett was born March 4, 1937, in Poughkeepsie, New York to Everett and Mary Hitchcock.

After serving in the US Air Force for 8 years, Everett proudly performed his duties as a Firefighter for the City of Poughkeepsie, until he retired. He later spent many years living in Chandler, Arizona and the last 15 years in Parker, Colorado to be near his daughter, Valerie and her family. He enjoyed painting landscapes, occasionally golfing, watching the horse races, the Philadelphia Eagles and the Arizona Diamondbacks. Called "Ed" by most, he loved to crack a joke and tease his grandchildren.

He leaves his wife of over 45 years, Gail, three daughters, two sisters, Arline and Dolores, and seven grandchildren. A memorial service is being planned and will be held soon. Details to come.
