She was predeceased by : her parents, Rueben Paul Randell and Addie Lee Randell (Donnell); her daughter Kimberly Wheeler; her grandson Clark Carter III; and her siblings, Arlester Randell, Edie Mae Randolph and Georgia Bell Randell.

She is survived by : her children, Janelle Carter (Clark), Sheila Wheeler and Akai Clifford; her grandchildren, Taylor Hickerson, Alexis Kearns, Tierra Carter, Dominique Clifford, Charron Mathis, Paris Mathis and Terrance Mathis; her great grandchild Shawn Casto; her goddaughter Beatrice Turner; and her brother Marvin Randell.
