She was predeceased by: her parents, Dean Stewart and Marjorie Stewart (Sailer); her brother Russell David; and her grandparents, Hurley, Hattie Stewart, C. L. and Mertie Sailer.
She is survived by: her husband Mike Dechant; her son Burk Haines (Holly); her granddaughter Geneva Haines; and her siblings, Bob Stewart (Theresa) of Burlington, Colorado, Penny Wade (Ken) of Springfield, Colorado and Robin Roberts.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Burlington United Methodist Church (290 13th St, Burlington, CO 80807). A burial was held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at the Fairveiw Cemetery (1000 N 15 St, Burlington, CO 80807).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mardean's name can be made to the United Methodist Church or your local 4-H Club or local animal shelter.
