With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maxine Ferguson (Castle Rock, Colorado), born in Atchison, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 30, 2025 at the age of 97. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alma Carlyle McClanahan and Dorothy Eva Witt; her brother Lyle (Katie); her nephews, Jeff, Jon and Jim (James); her siblings, Ed (late Shirley) and Lana (late Mrs Bob Barnes); and her daughters, Haley Ferguson and Lauren Ferguson of Zionsville, IN..
She is survived by: her daughter Kathy Fonda (David) of Parker, CO; her grandchildren, Tim Swanson of Englewood, CO, Laura Fitts of Colorado Springs, CO, Melissa Gracik of Ft. Collins, CO and David Fonda Jr. of Laramie, WY.; her son Mark Allen Ferguson (Jayne) of Merrimac, MA; her grandsons, Nicholas Ferguson of Denver and Mark Brandon Ferguson; her stepdaughter Jennifer Pugliese of Derry, NH.; and her son Steven Michael Ferguson (Maureen) of Zionsville, IN.
Donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Castle Rock in appreciation of the hours of service and friendship shown to Maxine by the Stephens Ministry at the church.
