We bid farewell to Pete C. Zarlengo of Castle Rock, Colorado, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 13, 2025 at the age of 99. Pete touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Pete's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Pete's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may he find rest in the embrace of eternity.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Zarlengo and Maria Zarlengo (Alegretti); and his siblings, Dominic and Carmela Zarlengo (Millie). He is survived by: his daughters, Therese Zarlengo of Los Angeles, CA, Catherine Miller (Denny) of Castle Rock, CO and Debora Zarlengo of Longmont, CO.. He is also survived by 17 Grandchildren, 24 Great Grandchildren, and one Great-Great Grandchild.
His mother died when he was only 22 months old, so his father placed him in an orphanage, where he would be raised for the next eleven years by the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth at Mount Saint Vincent Orphanage in Denver, Colorado.
